One of the best parts of living in Central Ohio is the incredible lineup of farmers markets, craft shows, and community events that pop up every season. Whether you are looking for fresh local produce, handmade gifts, or a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with the family, there is something happening nearby. I update this list regularly so you always know what is coming up next.

Weekly Farmers Markets

These markets run regularly through the season. Stop by any week for fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, and handmade goods.

Canal Market District

36 E. Canal St., Newark, OH

Fridays, 4:00 PM -- 7:00 PM through October 31

Craft market the second Saturday of each month, May through October, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Fresh produce, local artisans, prepared foods, and live music. Winter indoor market runs November through April at 31 N. Third St.

Granville Farmers Market

Raccoon Valley Park, 1225 River Rd., Granville, OH

Saturdays, 8:30 AM -- 12:00 PM through October 31

Tuesdays, 3:00 PM -- 6:00 PM through September 29 at Lucky's Market parking lot

One of the largest markets in the area with local produce, flowers, baked goods, and artisan crafts.

Hebron Farmers Market

Village of Hebron Center, Hebron, OH

Second Thursday of each month, 4:00 PM -- 7:00 PM (May through October)

Next date: October 8 (no September market due to the Pie Festival)

Licking County Outdoor Market

Licking County, OH

Saturdays, 9:00 AM -- 3:00 PM (May through October); Sundays, 11:00 AM -- 3:00 PM (year-round)
