What to Expect
Backwoods Fest is one of the largest and longest-running artisan festivals in Central Ohio. With more than 300 vendors spread across 50 acres, you will find handmade crafts, original art, jewelry, woodwork, pottery, clothing, home decor, and much more. The festival is known for its high-quality artisan goods and its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
Live bluegrass music plays throughout the weekend, adding the perfect soundtrack to a fall day of browsing, eating, and exploring. With more than 30 different food vendors, you will find everything from festival classics to regional specialties.

The festival is held rain or shine, so come prepared for whatever the Ohio weather brings. The grounds are located at 8572 High Point Road in Thornville, just a short drive from Buckeye Lake, Hebron, and Newark. Free parking is available on site. With three full days to explore, you can take your time discovering all the vendors, music, and food the festival has to offer.
